An innovative R&D manufacturing company is seeking a talented engineer to join their technical team developing next-generation microwave plasma sources and particle accelerators! Work with solid-state RF and microwave power electronics while advancing breakthrough technologies in applied research.
What you will do:
- Design and develop RF/MW power electronics subsystems from concept to production
- Handle component selection, circuit layout, assembly, testing, and validation for RF/MW systems
- Support electromagnetics design, simulation, and testing for R&D teams
- Operate and characterize particle accelerator and plasma source subsystems
- Manage continuous improvement initiatives and supply chain optimization
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines on cutting-edge product lines
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency with circuit design and layout tools (Altium/KiCAD) and mechanical interfaces (SolidWorks)
- Experience with LDMOS or high-voltage GaN RF electronics, LCR design, and simulation tools (LT SPICE)
- Hands-on experience with microwave test equipment and vector network analyzers
- Strong initiative, problem-solving abilities, and independent work style
- Excellent communication skills and passion for hands-on technical work
- 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
