A dynamic, fast-paced research and development manufacturing company located near Champaign, IL, is currently looking for a proactive and organized HR Generalist / Office Administrator to provide administrative and HR support within our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for general office duties, assisting with HR functions, managing office schedules, maintaining records, and coordinating the onboarding process for new hires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general office administrative duties such as answering phones, handling correspondence, and maintaining a professional and organized office environment.
- Manage employee schedules and support the HR department in scheduling interviews and meetings.
- Maintain and organize office records, files, and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide support for employee onboarding, including preparing new hire materials, conducting orientation, and assisting with the setup of workstations.
- Handle day-to-day office supplies and ensure that the workplace remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Support other administrative functions as required by management or other departments.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in office administration, HR support, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work in the United States currently and indefinitely, without sponsorship.
