Electrical engineer - Electronic engineer

FULL TIME | DIRECT HIRE | ON-SITE POSITION

East Central, IL (Relocation Assistance Available)

Range: $100k+ (based on experience)


This exciting opportunity is hands-on with full lifecycle product development, from concept to customer sign-off and support. The Electrical Engineer will be involved in component selection, circuit layout, assembly, testing, debugging, and validation for high-voltage switching and DC subsystems. 


Must be currently and permanently eligible to work in the US for any employer indefinitely without requiring sponsorship (must be a legal US resident). Green Card Engineers must be on the ITAR approved country of origin list.

Responsibilities

  • Switched-Mode DC-DC Converters
  • High-voltage (kV) SiC Mosfets & GaN power electronics
  • High Current IGBTs or GaN High-Electron Mobility Transistors
  • HV circuit design & layout
  • Hardware fabrication 
  • Electronics test & measurement


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience or a Master’s degree with 2+years’ experience OR
  • Microelectronics experience with prototyping & production facility work backgrounds plus experience with LDMOS or high-voltage GaN RF electronics, and/or high voltage SiC or GaN power electronics, LCR design, and/or noise immunity and simulations through LT SPICE.
  • Basic circuit design, layout/BOM tools, such Altium/KiCAD
  • High voltage test equipment, diagnostic tools, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings
  • Mechanical design such as SolidWorks
