Food Manufacturing background required

We're looking for a hands-on Project Engineering Manager to lead production line modifications, facility improvements, and capital projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Food manufacturing experience is required, with meat processing experience highly preferred.
What You'll Do
- Lead capital projects from concept, design, and budgeting through installation and startup
- Design production line modifications and facility improvements using AutoCAD
- Develop project scopes, engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
- Manage project budgets, contractors, vendors, and installation activities
- Coordinate projects with plant operations to minimize production downtime
- Ensure projects meet engineering standards, safety requirements, and operational objectives
- Support multiple projects while partnering with plant leadership, maintenance, and operations teams
What We're Looking For
- BS Engineering or related field
- 5+ years engineering projects in food manufacturing
- 5+ years of work experience with Engineering Management
- 2+ years experience leading production line modifications and capital equipment installations, project management, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management experience
- AutoCAD proficiency
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar capital projects is a plus
- Meat processing experience is highly preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 50% between company facilities
