• 2+ years experience leading projects production line modifications
• Multi-site engineering working with capex projects
• Open to travel as needed for intercompany projects

We're looking for a hands-on Project Engineering Manager to lead production line modifications, facility improvements, and capital projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Food manufacturing experience is required, with meat processing experience highly preferred.

What You'll Do

• Lead capital projects from concept, design, and budgeting through installation and startup
• Design production line modifications and facility improvements using AutoCAD
• Develop project scopes, engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
• Manage project budgets, contractors, vendors, and installation activities
• Coordinate projects with plant operations to minimize production downtime
• Ensure projects meet engineering standards, safety requirements, and operational objectives
• Support multiple projects while partnering with plant leadership, maintenance, and operations teams

What We're Looking For

• BS Engineering or related field
• 5+ years engineering projects in food manufacturing
• 5+ years of work experience with Engineering Management
• 2+ years experience leading production line modifications and capital equipment installations, project management, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management experience
• AutoCAD proficiency
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar capital projects is a plus
• Meat processing experience is highly preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 50% between company facilities
